Choosing a renewable energy installer is a big decision.
Have trust in an Accredited Installation > NAPIT validated. Updated 19.08.2026
Investing in renewable energy for your home or business is a significant commitment. Whether you are considering an air source heat pump, solar PV system or battery storage, you want to know that your installation will be carried out safely, professionally and to the required standards.
At Regen Renewables, our NAPIT validation gives you additional confidence that you are choosing a competent and professionally assessed renewable energy installer.
NAPIT is one of the UK's leading certification and membership scheme operators for the building services and renewable energy sector. Its members are assessed against relevant standards and requirements, helping customers choose installers with confidence.
What does NAPIT validation mean for you, the customer?
NAPIT members are assessed to demonstrate their competence and ability to carry out work within the scope of their certification.
For you, this means greater reassurance that your renewable energy installation is being undertaken by a business that has been assessed against relevant industry requirements.
At Regen Renewables, we take this responsibility seriously. From the initial property assessment through to design, installation and commissioning, our aim is to deliver a high-quality installation that performs as it should for years to come.
Independent assessment.
NAPIT membership isn't simply a badge that an installer can display without scrutiny.
NAPIT carries out ongoing assessment of its scheme members, including office audits and site inspections, to help ensure standards continue to be maintained.
This provides an additional layer of independent oversight beyond our own internal quality processes.
A commitment to safety and compliance.
Renewable energy systems involve important electrical, heating and building considerations. Correct installation is essential for both the safety of your property and the long-term performance of your system.
NAPIT members are required to work safely and in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.
Where applicable, NAPIT registration can also allow suitably certified installers to self-certify certain work under the Competent Person Scheme, helping ensure the relevant Building Regulations requirements are properly addressed.
The right certification and paperwork.
When you have renewable energy work carried out, receiving the correct documentation is important.
Depending on the type of installation and certification involved, this can include relevant electrical certificates and Building Regulations Compliance Certificates.
For applicable small-scale renewable energy installations in England and Wales, NAPIT explains that the work is notifiable under Building Regulations and that customers should receive a Building Regulations Compliance Certificate.
Good documentation can also be valuable if you later sell your property, remortgage or need to demonstrate that work has been completed in accordance with the relevant requirements.

Additional consumer protection.
Using a NAPIT-certified installer can provide additional reassurance should something go wrong.
NAPIT requires its certified installers to have appropriate processes for handling complaints and rectifying relevant faults. NAPIT also states that installers are required to provide a commitment to rectify relevant non-compliant work attributable to their installation for a minimum period of six years, subject to the applicable scheme and contractual arrangements.
For renewable energy customers, NAPIT also highlights the importance of appropriate insurance-backed warranties and keeping your installation paperwork.
At Regen Renewables, we believe protecting our customers is just as important as installing the technology itself.
Supporting access to renewable energy incentives.
Using an appropriately certified installer can also be important when applying for Government-backed renewable energy incentives.
For example, installations benefiting from schemes such as the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) need to meet the relevant MCS requirements and be installed by an MCS-approved installer.
Regen Renewables is MCS certified, alongside our NAPIT credentials, helping us support customers through the technical and administrative requirements associated with eligible renewable energy installations.
NAPIT + MCS: Reassurance from design to installation.
For renewable energy customers, different certifications serve different purposes.
MCS certification focuses specifically on renewable energy technologies and standards, while NAPIT certification and registration covers relevant areas of competence, compliance and installation work within the scope of our certification.
Together, these credentials form an important part of Regen Renewables' commitment to quality.
We don't believe in simply installing a system and walking away. Our team manages the process from your initial assessment and system design through to installation, commissioning and customer handover.
Your investment deserves confidence.
Renewable energy should be a long-term investment in your property, your energy costs and the environment.
Choosing an appropriately certified and professionally assessed installer gives you greater confidence that your installation is being carried out by a competent business and in accordance with the relevant requirements.
