Choosing a renewable energy system is a significant investment in your home. Whether you're installing an Air Source Heat Pump, Solar Panels or Battery Storage, you want to know that your installer has the skills, experience and processes needed to deliver your system properly.
Regen Renewables Ltd is MCS Certified, giving our customers added confidence that our installations are carried out in accordance with the standards and requirements of the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS).
MCS is the recognised UK quality assurance scheme for small-scale renewable energy and low-carbon technologies. Certification isn't simply a badge - it means certified installers have to meet defined technical, operational and customer service requirements, and remain subject to ongoing assessment.
What does MCS certification mean for you, the customer?
Confidence in the quality of your installation.
MCS-certified installers must work to the relevant MCS installation standards. These requirements cover important aspects of the installation process, helping ensure systems are designed and installed correctly, safely and in a way that is appropriate for the property.
At Regen Renewables, our approach goes beyond simply installing equipment. We carry out detailed assessments and design systems around your property's individual requirements, helping your renewable technology perform as it should.
A recognised standard you can trust.
MCS provides an independent framework for assessing renewable energy installers. By choosing Regen, you're choosing a company that has demonstrated that it meets the requirements of this recognised industry scheme.
Our MCS certification complements our commitment to quality, technical expertise and customer service, giving you greater confidence when making the switch to renewable energy.

Greater protection if something goes wrong.
MCS certification provides an important layer of consumer protection.
If you have a concern about an MCS-certified installation or installer and the issue cannot be resolved directly, MCS has a formal complaints process. MCS can assess complaints against the requirements that applied to the installation, including relevant installation standards, pre-sale requirements, planning requirements and installer operating requirements.
Where non-compliance is identified, MCS can require the installer to take corrective or remedial action. In serious or repeated cases, sanctions can include suspension or withdrawal of MCS certification.
This gives you an additional route for support beyond your relationship with your installer.
Access to government incentives.
MCS certification can also be important when it comes to accessing government-supported renewable energy incentives.
For example, homeowners applying for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) must use an MCS-certified installer. Regen Renewables can help eligible customers understand the incentives available and guide them through the relevant application process.
Confidence in the complete installation process.
At Regen Renewables, our MCS certification forms part of a wider commitment to delivering a professional, end-to-end service.
From your initial consultation and property assessment through system design, installation and aftercare, our experienced team manages the process from start to finish.
Our in-house installation teams are MCS certified, and we combine technical expertise with detailed property assessments to help ensure your system is designed around your home's requirements.
