From Sponsors to Trusted Partners: Our Work with Northampton Town FC
Written by Jak Smith, Regen Renewables LTD | Tuesday 2nd September 2025
For nearly two years, Regen Renewables has been proud to sponsor Northampton Town Football Club. What began as a partnership built on community and shared values has grown into a trusted relationship—one where the club knows it can turn to us for energy and climate control solutions when it matters most.
That trust was put to the test earlier this summer when Northampton Town came to us with a very last-minute request: they needed a brand-new beer chiller supplied and installed at the stadium—and it had to be ready before Carlsberg arrived to stock up for the weekend game.
The Challenge: A Tight Deadline
Timing was everything. The club reached out with only days to spare, making it clear this installation couldn’t wait. Fans expect a cold pint on matchday, and for NTFC, ensuring the right facilities were in place was non-negotiable.
Installing a beer chiller system on such short notice would mean pulling our resources together quickly, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and making sure the quality of the system and the installation were up to standard—all without disrupting stadium operations.
The Regen Renewables Response
This was one of those moments where teamwork made all the difference.
-
Jak Smith, Head of Marketing at Regen Renewables, worked closely with James Corrigan, Commercial Director at Northampton Town Football Club, to ensure communication was smooth and expectations were clear.
-
Behind the scenes, our Managing Director, Ashleigh Berry restructured schedules and reallocated resources so that the project could be completed within the narrow time frame.
-
Our Head Installer, Alisdair Butler, working to a tight schedule, pulled together to make sure the beer chiller was installed efficiently and correctly.
It was a true all-hands-on-deck effort, and everyone stepped up to make sure the job was done.
The Outcome: Cold Beer, Happy Fans
By the time Carlsberg arrived to stock up for the game, the new chiller was fully installed and ready to go. The project was completed without compromise on quality or service, and the speed of delivery left a strong impression on the club.
James Corrigan summed it up best when he told us he was impressed with the service, the manner in which the project was handled, the quality of the product, and the speed of the installation.
For us, feedback like this is exactly what we strive for. It’s about more than just delivering a product—it’s about delivering confidence, reliability, and partnership.
More Than a One-Off
The success of this project has only strengthened our relationship with Northampton Town Football Club. Since the installation, the club has already spoken with us about further projects, which is a fantastic testament to the trust we’ve built together.
For Regen Renewables, it also highlights what we want every client to know: whether it’s planned months in advance or required at the very last minute, we’ll always go the extra mile to deliver solutions that work.
Looking Ahead
This project was a great example of what Regen Renewables is all about—flexibility, teamwork, and quality service. From refrigeration and climate control to energy solutions, we’re here to help businesses keep running smoothly, no matter the challenge.
We’d like to thank Northampton Town Football Club for trusting us once again, and we’re excited about continuing to support them both on and off the pitch. Here’s to many more successful projects—and many more cold pints for Cobblers fans!
